Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Paul van Hecke and De Zerbi have been nominated for the Premier League's October awards, the league announced on Thursday. The nominations recognize standout performances during the month across England's top flight.
Van Hecke's nomination follows a strong October that included a goal in Tottenham's 2026/27 Premier League match against Crystal Palace at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 31, 2026. The Dutch center-back celebrated his strike as Spurs secured a victory in front of their home crowd.
The Premier League typically announces its Player of the Month and Manager of the Month awards in the first week of the following month. The winners for October will be revealed after a voting process involving fans and a panel of experts.
