The Iowa Hawkeyes entered the first College Football Playoff rankings of the 2026 season at No. 19, the selection committee announced on November 4.
The ranking follows Iowa's Big Ten matchup against the Wisconsin Badgers on October 31 at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City, where quarterback Hank Brown directed the offense.
The Hawkeyes' position in the initial playoff standings sets the stage for the remainder of the conference schedule as they pursue a postseason berth.
