San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch said the team hopes to have wide receiver Mike Evans back on the field in the coming weeks. Evans suffered an injury during the second quarter of the 49ers' game against the Washington Commanders on October 19, 2026, in Santa Clara, California, and walked to the locker room under his own power.
Lynch did not specify the exact nature of the injury but expressed optimism about Evans' return timeline. The 49ers will monitor his progress as they prepare for upcoming games.
