Detroit Pistons center Paul Reed criticized Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James for what he described as a flop during their matchup at Crypto.com Arena on December 30, 2025.
Reed, who previously played for the Philadelphia 76ers, addressed the incident following the game between the Pistons and Lakers. The confrontation occurred during the first half of the contest at the Los Angeles venue.
The former 76ers big man did not hold back in his assessment of James' actions, calling out the veteran forward for embellishing contact. Reed's comments add to the ongoing dialogue around flopping in the NBA.
