Cornerback Kindle Vildor has returned to the New England Patriots practice squad, the team announced Thursday. The transaction brings Vildor back to the organization after he previously spent time on the active roster earlier this season.
Vildor, who has appeared in 35 career NFL games with 13 starts since entering the league as a fifth-round pick in 2020, provides secondary depth for a Patriots defense navigating injuries at the cornerback position. The 27-year-old has recorded 72 tackles and three interceptions across stints with Chicago, Detroit, Tennessee, and New England.
The move comes as New England prepares for its Week 10 matchup. Vildor's familiarity with the defensive scheme should allow for a seamless transition back to the practice unit, where he will be eligible for elevation to the active roster on game days.
