The top-ranked Wisconsin Badgers face a critical road test at Minnesota with their undefeated record on the line. The Badgers enter the matchup as the nation's No. 1 team, looking to maintain their perfect season against a conference rival.
Earlier this year, on April 11, 2026, the Badgers competed in the NCAA Division I men's ice hockey championship game at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, where they faced the Denver Pioneers. In that title game, Denver's James Reeder attempted a shot against Wisconsin defenders Weston Knox and goaltender Daniel Hauser.
