The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly considering a blockbuster trade to acquire a high-priced pass-rusher from the Chicago Bears, according to a trade pitch outlined by Heavy.com's Max Dible on November 4, 2026. The proposed deal would target a Bears defender carrying an $18 million salary, though the player's name was not disclosed in the report.
Head coach Andy Reid and the Chiefs' front office are said to be evaluating options to bolster their pass rush as they navigate the 2026 NFL season. The Bears, meanwhile, could be open to moving the expensive defensive asset as they reshape their roster.
No official negotiations have been confirmed, and the scenario remains speculative. Further details on the player's identity and potential compensation are awaited.
