Anaheim Ducks forward Cutter Gauthier continued his scoring form, helping his team secure a 5-4 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday night in Edmonton. The win came two days after Gauthier netted twice in a game against the Vancouver Canucks.
Connor McDavid found the back of the net for the Oilers, but Ducks goaltender Laurent Brossoit made key saves to preserve the lead. The Ducks' balanced attack saw contributions from Tristan Luneau, Mikael Granlund, and Pavel Mintyukov, who celebrated a second-period goal that proved decisive.
