ESPN personality and former NFL punter Pat McAfee said he has faced harsh criticism on social media, with many users calling him a "snowflake." McAfee described the comments as "pretty mean" during a recent segment. The remarks come after McAfee attended a Utah Jazz game on October 23, 2026, at Delta Center in Salt Lake City, where he was seen alongside Jazz owner Ryan Smith watching the team play the New Orleans Pelicans.
The backlash highlights the intense scrutiny public figures encounter on social platforms. McAfee's appearance at the NBA game was captured in a widely circulated photo credited to Rob Gray-Imagn Images. The story was reported by Kevin Harrish for The Comeback on November 6, 2026.
