A Baltimore Orioles slugger has been named a finalist for the Silver Slugger award in his debut Major League Baseball season. The recognition highlights the offensive impact of the rookie during the 2026 campaign.
The Silver Slugger award, presented annually to the best offensive player at each position in both the American and National Leagues, announced its finalists on November 6, 2026. The Orioles representative earned the nomination after a strong first year at the major league level.
Finalists are selected by MLB managers and coaches based on offensive statistics including batting average, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage. Winners will be announced later in November.
