New York Mets infielder Eric Wagaman has cut ties with the organization following a disappointing 2026 season. The move comes months after Wagaman appeared at Citi Field on June 25, 2026, wearing number 39 for the club.
The separation concludes Wagaman's stint with the Mets after a campaign that fell short of expectations. Details regarding the specific terms of the departure or Wagaman's next destination were not immediately disclosed.
