Kelly Stafford, wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, publicly criticized the NFL for scheduling the team's game on Thanksgiving Eve. In a social media post, she expressed frustration, stating, "I'm tired." The comments came on November 4, 2026, as the league announced the holiday-week matchup.
The Rams are set to play on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, a scheduling decision that has drawn backlash from players' families due to the short turnaround and travel demands. Stafford's remarks highlight ongoing concerns about player welfare and family time during the congested holiday portion of the NFL calendar.
