Newcastle United have dispatched scouts to monitor Polish defender Jakub Krzyzanowski of Wisla Krakow ahead of a possible January transfer bid, according to reports. The young centre-back, described as a wonderkid in Polish football circles, has attracted interest from the Premier League club as they assess defensive reinforcements for the winter window.
Krzyzanowski, who currently plays for Wisla Krakow in Poland, is being evaluated for a potential move to St James' Park. The scouting mission suggests Newcastle are seriously considering an approach when the transfer market reopens in January.
