The New England Patriots have released punter Bryce Baringer from injured reserve, according to a report by Myles Simmons on Monday. The move concludes Baringer's stint with the organization after he was placed on the reserve list due to injury.
Baringer, who joined the Patriots as an undrafted free agent, had been sidelined while on injured reserve. The transaction allows him to become a free agent and pursue opportunities with other NFL teams.
The Patriots' special teams unit will continue with their current punting arrangement following this roster adjustment.
