Barcelona manager Hansi Flick organized an emergency barbecue for the first-team squad on Thursday in an effort to repair morale following consecutive defeats to Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
The gathering took place at the club's training ground after Barcelona lost to Real Madrid in a LaLiga EA Sports fixture and suffered a separate defeat against PSG. Flick, who took charge of the team earlier this season, hoped the informal setting would help players regroup ahead of a demanding schedule.
Club sources indicated the barbecue was attended by all available first-team players and coaching staff. The initiative comes as Barcelona look to recover form in both domestic and European competitions.
