The Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars will unveil their new NFL "Rivalries" uniforms on Sunday, November 1, 2026, during Week 8 home games. Both teams will kick off at 1 p.m. ET, with the Lions hosting the Minnesota Vikings on Fox and the Jaguars hosting the Indianapolis Colts on CBS.
The Lions' "Defend the Den" uniform, designed with Nike, features a white jersey, white pants, and a Honolulu blue helmet. The helmet incorporates carbon fiber within the decal texture, symbolizing elite performance and connecting to Detroit's automotive and racing heritage.
Jacksonville's uniform marks the first time the franchise will wear a teal helmet. The helmet displays "Duval" on the back bumper and the city's "904" area code on the front. The team will pair the helmet with a white jersey and black pants, while the number font draws inspiration from Jacksonville's historic music venues and southern rock influence.
Although the uniforms were revealed in August, this will be their on-field debut. The Colts and Green Bay Packers have already worn their Rivalries uniforms this season, with both teams winning — Indianapolis in Week 3 over the Houston Texans and Green Bay in Week 5 against the Chicago Bears — leaving teams 2-0 when wearing the new look.
The remaining 2026 Rivalries schedule includes: Jaguars at Tennessee Titans (Week 10, Nov. 15), Colts at Houston Texans (Week 11, Nov. 19), Lions at Vikings (Week 15, Dec. 20), and Packers at Chicago Bears (Week 16, Dec. 25). Each team will wear its Rivalries uniform once this season but may keep it in rotation for the next three years.
The NFL's Rivalries program runs through 2028, by which point all 32 teams will have unveiled a division-specific uniform. The AFC East and NFC West debuted in 2025, the AFC South and NFC North in 2026, the AFC West and NFC East in 2027, and the AFC North and NFC South in 2028.
