Fantasy football managers looking for an edge in Week 8 of the 2026 NFL season have two rookie wide receivers to consider, according to Yahoo Sports fantasy analyst Scott Pianowski. Both players are widely available on waiver wires and could provide immediate value as underrated sleepers.
Pianowski's weekly column identifies emerging talents who are rostered in a low percentage of leagues but have favorable matchups or increasing roles. The two rookies highlighted have shown flashes of potential in recent weeks, making them intriguing speculative adds for teams needing depth at receiver.
As always, fantasy managers should evaluate their own roster needs and league settings before making waiver claims. The NFL trade deadline and bye weeks may also affect player availability and opportunity.
