The Tennessee Titans have traded All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons to the Chicago Bears ahead of the NFL trade deadline, according to CBS Sports.
The Bears are sending a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 first-round pick, and a 2027 fourth-round selection to the Titans. In return, Chicago receives Simmons along with a 2028 fifth-round pick.
Simmons, 29, has spent his entire NFL career with Tennessee since being selected 19th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. He has earned four Pro Bowl selections since 2021 and is coming off arguably his best season in 2025, setting career highs with 11 sacks and 17 tackles for loss while earning his first All-Pro nod.
The move underscores the Titans' ongoing struggles; despite leading the league in offseason spending, Tennessee enters the weekend with a 1-6 record. Simmons becomes the latest high-profile player dealt before the November 10 deadline, following trades involving Cam Jurgens, DeForest Buckner, and Quenton Nelson earlier this month.
