The North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) has released the preliminary brackets for the 2026 boys soccer playoffs. The announcement came on Thursday, October 29, 2026, as reported by James F. Moore Jr. of the Fayetteville Observer.
The preliminary brackets outline the initial matchups and structure for the postseason tournament across the state's classifications. Teams and coaches will now begin preparation for the playoff rounds, with the brackets subject to potential adjustments before the official start of postseason play.
The NCHSAA oversees high school athletics in North Carolina and typically releases preliminary brackets to allow schools time to plan for travel and scheduling ahead of the championship tournament.
