Three-star linebacker prospect Jason Crenshaw Jr. has decommitted from Georgia Tech and pledged to the University of Texas, according to a report published Thursday. The recruiting flip adds to the Longhorns' 2027 class as they continue to build defensive depth under head coach Steve Sarkisian.
Crenshaw, a linebacker ranked as a three-star recruit by major scouting services, had been committed to the Yellow Jackets before reopening his recruitment. Texas secured his pledge as they look to strengthen their linebacker corps for future seasons. The decision comes during an active recruiting period for both programs as they finalize their incoming classes.
