A Washington Commanders defender has guaranteed a win over the Philadelphia Eagles in their upcoming Sunday night game, according to a report from Eagles Wire. The prediction adds intrigue to the NFC East rivalry matchup scheduled for October 29, 2026.
Glenn Erby of Eagles Wire reported the defender's bold claim, though the specific player was not identified in the initial report. The guarantee comes as both teams prepare for a prime-time divisional clash with playoff implications on the line.
The Commanders and Eagles have developed a fierce rivalry in recent seasons, with games often decided by narrow margins. A player publicly guaranteeing victory is relatively rare in the NFL and could provide additional motivation for the Eagles.
