Milwaukee native Ernie Johnson will leave his longtime role as host of TNT's "Inside the NBA" after the current season, according to a report from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Johnson has been the face of the popular NBA studio show for decades, guiding discussions alongside analysts Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kenny Smith. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Chris Mueller reported the news on October 28, 2026.
No immediate successor was announced. Johnson's departure marks the end of an era for one of sports television's most acclaimed studio programs.
