German women's national team players are set to inaugurate a stadium named after Diego Maradona in Argentina, according to a report from the German Press Agency (DPA). The event is scheduled for October 29, 2026.
The German squad recently featured in a 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifier against Slovenia at the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion, where defender Giulia Gwinn was photographed heading the ball during the League A, Group D match.
