DC United will miss the MLS playoffs for the seventh straight season, extending a prolonged period of futility for one of the league's most storied franchises.
The Washington, D.C.-based club, which won four MLS Cup titles between 1996 and 2004, has not qualified for the postseason since 2019. The latest elimination confirms a continued struggle to return to competitive relevance.
