Veteran broadcaster Joe Buck offered a telling indication earlier this year regarding Troy Aikman's long-term future at ESPN, according to a report from Yahoo Sports. Buck, who has shared the broadcast booth with Aikman for years, reportedly did not hesitate when asked about his partner's commitment to the network.
The comment has fueled speculation about Aikman's broadcasting career following his move from Fox to ESPN in 2022. Both former NFL players have become prominent voices in football coverage, with their partnership spanning multiple networks.
ESPN has not officially commented on the matter, and Aikman's current contract details remain private. The network continues to build its NFL coverage team around high-profile former players and coaches.
