Oklahoma State University has secured a commitment from highly regarded cornerback J'Lynnd Kellow, who had previously been pledged to Mississippi State. The recruiting flip was reported Thursday by Eric Morris and Sam Spiegelman.
Kellow, a touted defensive back prospect, decommitted from the Bulldogs program to join the Cowboys' 2027 recruiting class. The move represents a significant pickup for Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy and his staff as they continue building their secondary for future seasons.
Recruiting flips — where a prospect changes commitment from one school to another — are common in college football's competitive landscape, particularly during the late stages of a recruiting cycle. Kellow's decision adds depth to Oklahoma State's defensive backfield pipeline.
