Arsenal youngster Dowman has been handed a three-match suspension after the club's appeal against his red card was rejected, Hayters TV reported on Thursday.
The disciplinary decision means the youth player will miss the next three fixtures for the Gunners. The appeal hearing took place following the sending-off incident, though details of the original match and offense were not disclosed.
Arsenal had sought to overturn the dismissal, but the governing body upheld the referee's decision, confirming the three-game ban.
