Florida State University has offered a scholarship to a wide receiver in the 2028 recruiting class from California, according to a report published Thursday. The Seminoles continue to expand their recruiting footprint on the West Coast as they target the next generation of talent.
The offer was reported by FSU Wire on October 29, 2026. Specific details regarding the player's name, high school, or recruiting ranking were not disclosed in the initial report. Florida State's coaching staff has increasingly looked to California in recent cycles to supplement their traditional recruiting bases in Florida, Georgia, and Texas.
The 2028 class represents the earliest stage of the recruiting process, with prospects currently in their freshman year of high school. Early offers at this stage typically signal strong projection and long-term interest from a program.
