The New York Knicks are planning to decline the team option on Pacome Dadiet's contract for the 2027-28 NBA season, according to a report from HoopsHype. The decision would make the French forward an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Dadiet, 19, was selected by New York with the 25th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft after playing professionally in France for Ratiopharm Ulm. The 6-foot-9 wing appeared in limited minutes during his rookie campaign, averaging 1.2 points and 0.8 rebounds across 14 games while spending significant time with the Knicks' G League affiliate, the Westchester Knicks.

By declining the option, New York creates additional roster flexibility as they navigate a competitive Eastern Conference landscape. The move also opens a roster spot that could be used to address depth needs ahead of the 2027-28 season.
