Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has taken a bold stance against an NFL fine related to what the league describes as controversial "science-type" cleats, according to a report by Manhaz Muntaha published Thursday on Yahoo Sports.
The specific details of the fine, the cleats in question, and Williams' response were not disclosed in the initial report. The story is developing as the NFL and the Bears organization have not yet issued official statements on the matter.
