A consortium formed by Rio de Janeiro rivals Flamengo and Fluminense has offered the use of the iconic Maracanã stadium to Vasco da Gama, potentially resolving a brewing dispute over venue access.
The move comes amid ongoing discussions about the management and scheduling of Brazil's most famous stadium, which is currently operated by the Flamengo-Fluminense partnership.
Vasco, who have historically played at São Januário but often use Maracanã for high-profile matches, had been seeking guarantees for future fixtures.
