Former UFC middleweight Sam Alvey has signed to make his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship debut in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where he will face an opponent known by the nickname 'Big Baby.' The announcement was reported Thursday by Alexander Behunin.
Alvey, who last competed in the UFC in August 2022 against Poland's Michal Oleksiejczuk at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, transitions to the bare-knuckle promotion after a lengthy career in mixed martial arts. The date and venue specifics for the Hershey event were not disclosed in the initial report.
The matchup marks a new chapter for the veteran fighter, who has competed across multiple weight classes during his tenure in the UFC and other MMA organizations. Further details regarding the fight card and ticket information are expected to be released by BKFC in the coming weeks.
