New Orleans Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler participated in mandatory mini camp drills at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center in Metairie, Louisiana on June 17, 2026. The second-year signal-caller, wearing jersey number 2, was photographed during the session as the Saints evaluate their quarterback depth chart.
The mini camp appearance comes amid ongoing speculation linking the Saints' roster construction to a potential trade scenario that could address the Cleveland Browns' quarterback vacancy. While no official trade discussions have been confirmed, Rattler's development and the Saints' quarterback room composition have drawn attention from league observers monitoring the Browns' search for a long-term solution under center.
Rattler, drafted by New Orleans in 2024, continues to gain experience within the Saints' offensive system. The mandatory mini camp represents a key evaluation period for the coaching staff as they assess roster decisions ahead of the 2026 regular season.
