The Houston Rockets have upgraded the injury status of center Alperen Sengun and guard Marcus Smart ahead of Friday's game, according to a report from Rockets Wire. Both players had been listed on the team's injury report prior to the update.
The specific nature of the upgrades and the players' availability for Friday's contest were not detailed in the initial report. Sengun, the Rockets' starting center, and Smart, a veteran guard acquired in the offseason, are key contributors to Houston's rotation.
Further details on their practice participation and official game designations are expected to be released closer to tip-off.
