A statue of Dwyane Wade outside the Miami Heat's arena has been corrected to accurately depict the Hall of Fame guard, two years after its initial unveiling drew criticism for its lack of resemblance. The updated sculpture now captures Wade's likeness, addressing concerns from fans and the player himself.
The revision comes after the original statue, unveiled in 2024, was widely noted for not looking like the three-time NBA champion. The corrected version was revealed on October 30, 2026, marking a more faithful tribute to the Heat legend.
