Edmonton Oilers goaltender Jarry stopped all 24 shots he faced to secure a 4-0 victory over the Calgary Flames on Wednesday night at Rogers Place.
Mathieu Joseph opened the scoring in the first period, and Mattias Ekholm added a second-period goal as the Oilers built a comfortable lead. Connor McDavid created several chances but was denied by Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf.
A first-period fight between Oilers defenseman Ty Emberson and Flames forward Brennan Othmann added physicality to the contest. The win improves Edmonton's record while Calgary falls to 0-2-0 on the young season.
