The Denver Broncos announced a series of roster moves on Wednesday, highlighted by the signing of running back Jaret Patterson, who previously played for the Los Angeles Chargers. The team also added two other unnamed players while releasing a pair of wide receivers.
Patterson, an undrafted free agent out of the University at Buffalo, spent time on the Chargers' practice squad last season. The 5-foot-7, 195-pound back rushed for 3,884 yards and 52 touchdowns over three collegiate seasons, earning first-team All-MAC honors in 2020.
The Broncos did not immediately disclose the identities of the two additional players signed or the two wide receivers waived to make room on the 53-man roster. Denver's front office continues to evaluate depth options ahead of the second half of the 2026 NFL season.
