Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has been listed as questionable for the team's Week 8 game, according to the latest injury report released Friday. The designation means Waddle's availability for Sunday's contest remains uncertain as he works through an undisclosed issue.
Waddle, a key component of Miami's passing attack, has been managing his workload throughout the practice week. The Dolphins' coaching staff will likely make a final determination on his status closer to game time after evaluating his progress in pre-game warmups.
The 2021 first-round pick has emerged as one of the league's most dynamic playmakers since entering the NFL. His potential absence would significantly impact Miami's offensive scheme and create opportunities for other receivers to see increased targets.
Fantasy football managers and Dolphins fans alike will be monitoring Waddle's status closely leading up to kickoff. The team's next official update is expected Saturday when final injury designations are submitted to the league.
