UCF Knights suffered a humbling defeat at the hands of the Baylor Bears in the annual Space Game on Saturday, with Baylor quarterback DJ Lagway delivering a standout performance that left the home crowd stunned.
The Knights, playing at their home stadium, were outplayed in all phases as Lagway threw for multiple touchdowns and orchestrated a dominant offensive display. Baylor's defense also stifled UCF's attack, forcing turnovers and limiting scoring opportunities.
The loss marks a significant setback for UCF's season aspirations, while Baylor celebrates a statement victory on the road. The Space Game, a marquee matchup between the two programs, lived up to its billing as a high-stakes contest.
