Sixth-ranked Ludlowe pulled off a major upset on Friday night, defeating top-ranked New Canaan to snap the Rams' 29-game winning streak. Quarterback Ryan Love led the charge for Ludlowe in the victory over their previously unbeaten rivals.
The loss marks New Canaan's first defeat since the streak began, ending a remarkable run that had established them as the state's dominant program. Ludlowe's win reshapes the conference standings and signals a potential shift in the regional hierarchy.
