Sunderland head coach Regis Le Bris is set to name his starting lineup for a pivotal Championship encounter against Coventry City at the Stadium of Light. The Black Cats come into the fixture on the back of a Carabao Cup fourth-round tie against Brentford on October 28, where Le Bris's side faced Premier League opposition.
The match against Coventry represents a significant test for Sunderland's promotion aspirations, with both teams vying for playoff positions in the Championship. Le Bris will be weighing his selection options after the midweek cup exertions, with several key players potentially returning to the starting eleven.
Sunderland's recent form and tactical setup under the French coach will be under scrutiny as they aim to secure three points against a resilient Coventry side.
