Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta delivered a pointed "Disneyland" warning to teenager Max Dowman after the midfielder was shown a straight red card in the Gunners' English League Cup loss away to Fleetwood Town on Friday.
Dowman was dismissed by referee Michael Salisbury during the second half of the third-round tie, leaving Arsenal with ten men as they exited the competition.
Arteta's post-match comments emphasized the need for young players to grasp the physical and disciplinary demands of senior football, using the term "Disneyland" to highlight what he perceived as a naive approach.
