Japanese driver Hirakawa will replace Esteban Ocon for the remainder of the Mexico City Grand Prix weekend, according to Formula 1 correspondent Andrew Benson. The change was announced on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
The substitution means Hirakawa will take over Ocon's seat for the remaining sessions, including qualifying and the race.
