Mililani High School advanced to the Oahu Interscholastic Association (OIA) football final with a gritty victory over Kahuku on Saturday. The Trojans secured the win in a tightly contested matchup that saw both teams struggle to find offensive rhythm, earning what coaches described as an "ugly" but effective performance.
The victory sends Mililani to the OIA championship game, where they will face the winner of the other semifinal. Kahuku's season ends in the semifinals after a hard-fought campaign.
The game was reported by Kyle Sakamoto of The Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
