Former NFL quarterback Philip Rivers, an eight-time Pro Bowl selection, is reportedly in serious discussions to become the head coach at his alma mater, North Carolina State University.
Rivers, who briefly returned to the NFL last year after nearly five seasons away from the league, had previously paused his high school coaching career. The potential move would mark his first collegiate coaching role.
