Montana State quarterback Justin Lamson threw five touchdowns in the first half to power the Bobcats to a 61-7 victory over Cal Poly on Saturday night. The Associated Press reported the dominant performance from the FCS matchup played on October 31, 2026.
Lamson's early barrage put the game out of reach before halftime, as Montana State built an insurmountable lead. The Bobcats' offense clicked on all cylinders while the defense stifled the Mustangs throughout the contest.
The win continues Montana State's strong season in the Big Sky Conference, while Cal Poly struggles to find momentum in conference play.
