The Carolina Panthers have fired defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero following a disappointing loss, the team announced on Friday, October 30, 2026.
Evero, who joined the Panthers in 2023, oversaw a defense that struggled in recent weeks. The decision comes after a loss that dropped the team's record further below expectations.
No immediate replacement was named. The Panthers' head coach is expected to address the change in the coming days.
