The Detroit Red Wings have suspended captain Dylan Larkin without pay, the team announced Thursday. The Minnesota Wild are monitoring the situation as the NHL reviews the disciplinary action.
No further details regarding the length of the suspension or the specific reason were immediately disclosed by the organization. Larkin, 30, has served as Detroit's captain since 2021 and is in the third season of an eight-year contract.
