Oklahoma's football team fell to South Carolina on November 1, 2026, in a game that highlighted significant struggles for Sooners offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle. The matchup, covered by The Oklahoman's Colton Sulley, produced five key takeaways centered on Arbuckle's difficult outing as Oklahoma's offense failed to find rhythm against the Gamecocks defense.
The loss marks a concerning performance for the Sooners program, with Arbuckle's play-calling and offensive scheme coming under scrutiny after what was described as an "ugly outing" against SEC competition. South Carolina's victory adds another notable result to the 2026 college football season.
