Arizona Cardinals running back Jeremiyah Love has been placed on injured reserve, a move that reshapes the fantasy football landscape heading into Week 9. The injury opens a significant opportunity for Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier, who has emerged as the top waiver wire addition for the upcoming week.
Love suffered the injury during the Cardinals' game against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium on October 4. The second-year back had been a key part of Arizona's offense, and his absence will likely increase the workload for the remaining backs in the Cardinals' backfield.
Allgeier, meanwhile, has seen his role expand in the Falcons' offense and is widely available in fantasy leagues. Fantasy managers are advised to prioritize him on the waiver wire this week as he steps into a larger role.
